The ones people keep buying
Four prints that have found their way onto walls in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Poland and the US.
Autumn Northern LightsLate August on a lake outside Rovaniemi. We had been driving for an hour looking for a gap in the clouds — then the water went completely still and the aurora doubled itself in the reflection. Our most-loved print by a long way.See sizes & framesBestseller
Winter Wonderland, RiisitunturiRiisitunturi National Park in midwinter. The snow sits so heavily on the spruces that they turn into sculptures — this is the view from the top of the fell, sun barely over the horizon at noon.See sizes & framesBestseller
Geiranger FjordWe were driving the mountain roads above Geiranger when the whole fjord opened up below. Our Norway road trip in one frame.See sizes & framesBestseller
White-tailed EagleA white-tailed eagle in black and white, watching from an old pine. Magnificent predator, and one of our bestselling prints in a large size.See sizes & framesCollection
Northern Lights
Auroras over Rovaniemi and Kittilä — the nights we still talk about.
Autumn Northern LightsLate August on a lake outside Rovaniemi. We had been driving for an hour looking for a gap in the clouds — then the water went completely still and the aurora doubled itself in the reflection. Our most-loved print by a long way.See sizes & frames
Northern Lights TeepeeA Sámi-style teepee on a Northern Lights tour, fire going inside, sky going green outside. This is what a good aurora night in Lapland actually looks like.See sizes & frames
Northern Lights Teepee IISame hut, a few minutes later, when the whole group stepped outside and went quiet.See sizes & frames
Northern Lights HuntingHunting the lights outside Rovaniemi — red and green curtains right over the treeline, with the van still warm behind us.See sizes & frames
Northern Lights in KittiläA rare red-and-green corona over Kittilä. One of those nights where you stop taking photos and just watch.See sizes & frames
Autumn Northern Lights IIThe same autumn night in Rovaniemi as our bestseller, looking straight up through the pines.See sizes & frames
Star TrailThirty minutes of the sky turning over Lapland — a single long exposure, no aurora needed.See sizes & frames
Polar Stratospheric CloudsNacreous clouds are rarer than the aurora and only show up in the deepest cold. We got one afternoon of them and haven't seen them since.See sizes & frames
Pearl Clouds in LaplandThe same mother-of-pearl sky, a wider view. It looks like an oil painting; it's straight out of the camera.See sizes & framesCollection
Winter Lapland
Riisitunturi's snow-crowned spruces and −30 °C nights by the fire.
Winter Wonderland, RiisitunturiRiisitunturi National Park in midwinter. The snow sits so heavily on the spruces that they turn into sculptures — this is the view from the top of the fell, sun barely over the horizon at noon.See sizes & frames
Arctic Calm in RiisitunturiThe quiet side of the Arctic. No wind, no sound, just tykky snow on every branch.See sizes & frames
Dusk in RiisitunturiBlue hour comes at three in the afternoon in midwinter. This is the last light on the fell before the long night.See sizes & frames
A Frozen OpeningPastel dusk over a clearing in Riisitunturi — soft light, untouched snow, the kind of silence you can hear.See sizes & frames
Snow-Covered Tree, RiisitunturiOne tree that stopped Joona on the trail. Sometimes the whole feeling of Lapland fits into one shape.See sizes & frames
Snowy Spruces in RiisitunturiYou cannot walk past these and not stop. Classic Riisitunturi — the postcard you actually stood in.See sizes & frames
Snowy Trees in the MistA whiteout rolling over the fell, spruces fading into it. Our most minimal print.See sizes & frames
Fireplaces at Night in Winter−30 °C, two fires going, and a sky full of stars. This is a real night on a Lapland trip — and the best argument for the word 'kota'.See sizes & frames
Frozen River at NightA river freezing over at −30 °C, moonlight on the snow. Cold enough that the camera battery gave up before we did.See sizes & framesCollection

About the photographer
Joona Heinonen, Rovaniemi
Joona has spent years working in Lapland tourism — around husky farms, aurora guides and −30 °C nights — and photographing the North on the side. His idea for these prints is simple: bring a bit of that nature into everyday life, because it calms you down and makes you happier. Alla and he run this site together; the photos here are the same ones you see across our stories.

Questions we get asked
Where do I actually buy the print?
On Printler. Every photo on this page links to its own Printler product page where you pick size, material and frame and pay securely. Printler is a Swedish art-print marketplace with a 4.5-star Trustpilot rating, and they handle printing, shipping and returns.
Which sizes and materials are available?
Four sizes — 21×30, 30×40, 50×70 and 70×100 cm — as a premium poster (250 gsm pigment print), a canvas on a wooden stretcher, or a framed fine-art print on Hahnemühle paper. Frames come in black, white, oak, walnut and a few colours; a passepartout is optional.
How much does a print cost?
Posters start at around €25 for the smallest size and go up with size, material and framing. Until 30 September 2026 our Friends & Followers code summer-10765 takes 30% off at checkout; Printler also runs its own campaigns around Black Friday and Christmas. Free shipping applies on orders over €69.
Where does Printler ship, and how fast?
Across the EU, the Nordics, the UK and the US. Prints are produced to order and typically ship within a few working days; delivery time depends on your country. Returns are free if you change your mind.
Which print works best for a living room?
For a big wall we'd go 70×100 or 50×70 in either Autumn Northern Lights or Winter Wonderland, Riisitunturi — both are calm, wide images that don't fight with furniture. The black-and-white White-tailed Eagle and Dwarf Cornel are the easiest to match with any interior. Portrait-format aurora and Vøringsfossen prints suit narrow walls and hallways.
Are these photos edited or AI?
They're real photographs taken by Joona in Finland and Norway, edited lightly in Lightroom — the same way we edit every photo on this site. No AI generation, no stock imagery.
