According to the operator, every home includes bed linen, towels, the arrival and departure clean, utilities and wifi. Finca de Arrieta adds a welcome pack (cava, water, milk, wine, coffee, tea), beach towels, a 24/7 honesty shop, a shared solar-heated 13 m × 2.5 m pool open all year, a play park, donkeys and chickens, and a Monday paella evening (subject to availability). It runs off-grid on solar power with generator back-up, so there is no air conditioning or heating, and no dishwashers, TVs, electric kettles or irons in the Finca homes. Baby kit — travel cot, high chair, changing mat, potty, toddler step, baby bath — is free on request.

The operator takes a 30% non-refundable deposit at booking and the balance 30 days before arrival. Cancelling forfeits the deposit; cancelling inside 30 days is charged in full — Lanzarote Retreats recommends travel insurance, and so do we. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 10:00; a guaranteed early check-in or late check-out costs 50% of a nightly rate, subject to availability. All homes are non-smoking and no pets are allowed.

At Finca de Arrieta the operator says children 17 and under stay free, and the sleeping capacities above show adults plus children on sofa beds, z-beds or travel cots. Child car seats are free on request. Three homes — Casa Pino, Finca Botanica Tao and Finca Panorama — are priced on adult occupancy with extra charges for children aged 3–17, and the Vineyard Cottage is not suitable for children. Arrecife Sands is the only home with air conditioning and the operator’s recommendation for wheelchair users.

Lanzarote is warm year-round — the operator’s averages run from 18 °C in January and February to 26 °C in August, with the most rain in December (29 mm). Winter sun from November to March is the European peak, so book those weeks early; Christmas and New Year are the peak of the peak and are excluded from HUNGRYTRAVELFAMILY5, while HUNGRYTRAVELFAMILY275 covers stays from January 2027. Finca de Arrieta takes stays of 3 nights or more (2 nights if you arrive within a month) with flexible arrival days; some villas have their own minimum, for example 4 nights at Villa Ocean Bliss.
