Lapland Wedding Packages Compared: Elopement Styling, On-the-Day Coordination and Full Planning
“Package” means very different things in Lapland, from a styled ceremony for two to a full multi-day wedding with every supplier. Here is how we explain the options at Rovaniemi Weddings, our own company: what each level covers, what it roughly costs, who it suits and how to choose without overpaying. Everything is tailored, so treat the tiers as starting points.

There are four sensible ways to hire help for a Lapland wedding: a styled elopement (ceremony styling from around €800 in the cost guide), a full styling package (€1,500–€5,000), on-the-day coordination only, or full planning with every supplier. Our packages are starting points that we tailor, and there is no fixed price list: you receive a detailed custom quote after a consultation, with no hidden fees. Rovaniemi Weddings is our own company; see Lapland Wedding Packages, Elopement in Lapland and Lapland Wedding Cost, and write to us at Contact Rovaniemi Weddings.

What “Package” Means in Lapland
When couples ask about packages, they usually mean one of two things. Some want to know what is included for a given price, as in a hotel. Others want to know which parts of a wedding someone else can take over. In Lapland the second question matters more, because the cost is rarely a single fee: it is the sum of the venue, the styling, the photographer, the catering, the transport, the officiant and the people who coordinate them.
We are Joona and Alla, and we run Rovaniemi Weddings, our own planning and styling company in Rovaniemi. Our packages are starting points that are fully tailored, not rigid products, and we explain them in the order couples usually discover that they need them.
The Four Levels at a Glance
| Level | Best for | What it covers | Guide cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Elopement styling | Two people, or two plus a handful | A styled ceremony: arch or backdrop, bouquet and boutonnière, candles or ambient light, faux fur throws; set up in a forest, on a frozen lake, a fell viewpoint or a venue | Elopement styling from around €800 |
| 2. Full styling package | Intimate to mid-size weddings with a venue already chosen | Design consultation, ceremony arch, aisle décor, table styling, centrepieces, lounge area, signage, place cards, lighting, rental items, delivery, setup and removal | Full styling package €1,500–€5,000 |
| 3. On-the-day coordination | Couples who have a plan and suppliers | Timeline, suppliers and logistics managed on the day | Quoted after consultation |
| 4. Full planning and styling | Couples who want one team from first idea to last candle | Everything in levels 2 and 3, plus supplier sourcing and booking, budget and timeline | Quoted after consultation; overall weddings from €5,000 to €30,000+ |
These are the ranges published in our cost guide, and every real quote depends on date, guest count and venue. The detailed Lapland Wedding Cost page lists the other costs, such as venue, photography and catering.

Level 1: Elopement Styling
An Elopement in Lapland is one of the simplest and most beautiful ways to marry. The package typically includes a planning consultation, scouting and preparation of the location, styling and floral design, day-of coordination and recommendations for vendors. Styling may include a hand-built wooden arch with seasonal greenery, a bouquet of dried and fresh flowers, styled vow books and pens, and a decorated ceremony circle, with materials sourced locally, such as birch, moss and pine.

Add-ons are where couples personalise it: a photographer, a private dinner, a reindeer sleigh ride or an extra night. Winter, November to March, is the most popular elopement season, and temperatures can drop to −30 °C, so we plan every elopement with a warm back-up and a short outdoor ceremony. Our complete guide to eloping in Lapland explains the rest.
Level 2: A Full Styling Package
Level two suits couples who have chosen a venue and want it to look like them. We design a concept and mood board with you, then create the ceremony arch and backdrop, the aisle, the reception tables and centrepieces, the lounge area, the signage and place cards, and the lighting, with fairy lights and candle displays. Items can come from our rental collection, and we deliver, set up and remove everything.

Seasonal approaches matter. In winter, we use fur accents, candlelit pathways, warm metallics and frosted florals. In spring, pastels, budding birch and wildflowers. Because fresh petals freeze at −30 °C, we use high-quality artificial and preserved flowers suited to Arctic conditions, made by hand in our Rovaniemi studio. Our guide to winter wedding flowers in Lapland explains why.

Level 3: On-the-Day Coordination Only
Many couples plan most things themselves, or with their venue, and then need one person to hold it together on the day. Day-of coordination covers the timeline, the suppliers and the logistics: the florist arrives, the photographer is in the right place, the transport is on time, the cake is in the room. We take over about a week before the wedding, review everything and run the day.
This is a good fit if you live in Finland and have booked suppliers, or if a hotel handles the catering but not the rest. It is not a substitute for planning, and we will say so honestly if we think your plan needs more.
Level 4: Full Planning and Styling
With the full event package, one team plans the event, sources and books every supplier, styles and installs every detail and coordinates the day. The process has four steps: a discovery call, a plan and proposal that is priced and scheduled, sourcing and design, and finally installation and coordination, including setup, day-of coordination and pack-down. We work across Finland, Sweden and Norway.
For a wedding with guests, the cost guide gives a range of €10,000 to €20,000 for a beautifully styled event of 20 to 50 guests, and €30,000 or more for larger celebrations. We recommend a contingency of around 10%. The planner page, Lapland Wedding Planner, explains the day-to-day role, and our guide to what a Lapland wedding planner does says when you need one.
What Sits Outside Any Package: Budget It Separately
A styling or planning package pays for design, labour and coordination. It does not usually pay for the other parts of a wedding, and most surprises in a budget come from them. These are the ranges in our cost guide, for orientation only.
| Item | Guide range |
|---|---|
| Venue: cabin or glass igloo, intimate day | €500–€1,500 |
| Venue: hotel or resort event space | €2,000–€8,000 |
| Photography, full-day coverage | €1,500–€4,000 |
| Videography, additional | €1,500–€3,500 |
| Catering, sit-down dinner for 20–50 guests | €50–€150 per person |
| Flights from European cities, return | €150–€500 per person |
| Accommodation: guesthouses | €80–€150 per night |
| Accommodation: glass igloos and resort suites | €300–€800 per night |
| Examination of impediments (legal) | around €60 |
The most useful thing you can do with this table is to add a line for each supplier in your own budget before you ask anyone for a quote. We then show you which of your lines a package replaces and which stay separate. If you are planning a larger celebration, see also our guide to a small wedding for 20–30 guests.
How to Choose Without Overpaying
Ask four questions.
- How many guests? Two to ten guests usually means level 1 or 2. Twenty or more usually means level 2 plus coordination, or level 4.
- Do you have a venue and suppliers? If yes, levels 2 and 3 may be enough. If no, level 4 saves you time and mistakes.
- Are you in Finland? If you live abroad, local coordination matters more, because you cannot visit the venue.
- What would you hate to worry about on the day? Whatever your answer is, that is the part to hand over.
One more point about seasons: the same package costs more to deliver in the busiest weeks, and winter aurora season has higher demand, while spring and autumn often have more competitive pricing. If your date is flexible, tell us, because moving a wedding from mid-December to early December or to March can change both the price and the weather. A useful way to save money is to start with level 2 and add coordination, rather than ordering everything at once. A cheaper way to begin is the décor rental collection: arches, backdrops, napkins, table runners and candles for couples who want to arrange the rest themselves. Whichever route you choose, you can read about the cost split in our honest Lapland wedding budget guide.
How to Book
The process is the same for every level.
- Tell us about your day: date, guest count, wishes and ideas, through Contact Rovaniemi Weddings.
- Consultation and estimate, in person or online.
- Agreement and a deposit to secure the date.
- Planning together.
- Your wedding day.
Book at least six to nine months ahead, especially for the winter aurora season or the midsummer midnight sun; twelve to eighteen months for December to March. Last-minute is sometimes possible, depending on availability. We reply within one business day, and there are no hidden fees.

An elopement with elopement styling, which starts from around €800 for the styling in our cost guide, plus the officiant, a photographer and any venue or transport costs.

Yes, across Lapland, Finland, Sweden and Norway.
Are the flowers real?
We use high-quality artificial and preserved flowers suited to Arctic conditions, because fresh petals freeze at −30 °C. They look perfect in every season.
How far ahead should we book?
At least six to nine months for most dates, and twelve to eighteen for December to March.
Our Honest Final Word
The right package is the smallest one that removes the worries you actually have. If you are eloping with two or three people, level one is plenty. If you have a venue and a vision, level two. If you are far away or the guest list is long, level four will cost more than the others, and will probably save you the most stress. Rovaniemi Weddings is our own company, so we have an interest in your choice; the best way to check is to ask us for a quote at each level.
