Boutique Beach Villa in Charco del Palo: Our Guide to Lanzarote’s Five-Bedroom Seafront Villa for Groups (With 5% Off)
Five en-suite bedrooms, a solar-heated pool, a 250 m² roof terrace and a natural rock pool twenty metres away — Boutique Beach Villa is the most unusual big-group home Lanzarote Retreats offers, and it stands in a small naturist village on the north-east coast. We went through the operator’s page, the village description and the booking engine’s winter quotes to work out who this villa suits, who should look elsewhere, and what a January week really costs.

Most of what we write about Lanzarote Retreats is the family-friendly Finca de Arrieta. This post is about the odd one out, and we think it deserves an honest introduction rather than a glossy one. We have not stayed here: we live in Rovaniemi, we research the homes we send readers to, and everything below comes from the operator’s own pages and the booking engine.
Boutique Beach Villa5% off · code inside is a 400 m² eco villa in Charco del Palo, a small naturist village on Lanzarote’s north-east coast, with five bedrooms that each have their own bathroom and kitchenette, a walled garden with a solar-heated pool, and a roof terrace with front-line Atlantic views. It suits friends, two or three couples, a wellness group or a family reunion who want privacy and a quiet coast rather than a resort. It is not a typical children’s-beach villa: the village is clothing-optional, the sea is a rocky coast with natural tidal pools, and a car is recommended. The booking engine quoted €3,361 for 7 nights from 10 January 2027 — the same total for two adults as for eight, which works out at roughly €48 per person per night for ten adults. Book directly with Lanzarote Retreats and use code HUNGRYTRAVELFAMILY5 for stays until 18 December 2026 (Christmas and New Year excluded) or HUNGRYTRAVELFAMILY275 for stays from January 2027 — 5% off either way.

What Boutique Beach Villa Actually Is
According to Lanzarote Retreats, Boutique Beach Villa is an exclusive, private eco villa of about 400 m² in Charco del Palo, on the north-east coast of the island. It was built around the idea that a group should have separate, comfortable space instead of one big living room: all five bedrooms have a private en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette, four of them open through private terraces onto the pool, and the principal bedroom has ocean views and an in-room bath.
The shared spaces are generous. The operator describes a large atrium lounge, panoramic ocean views, ample seating, two separate WCs, a communal bar and a large industrial kitchen that is meant for hosting events or cooking for a whole group, plus an open-plan studio with a wooden floor that it recommends for yoga and Pilates. The whole property is enclosed by walls and a gate. The page lists up to 10 adults plus children; if your party includes children, ask Lanzarote Retreats to confirm the arrangement before you book, because the page does not set out a child count the way the Finca de Arrieta homes do.
It runs partly on off-grid solar electricity and has a solar-heated pool, which are the eco features the operator lists. It also includes free wifi, a hammock and sea views from the terraces, and as in all Lanzarote Retreats homes, linen, towels, cleaning at the start and end of the stay, and utilities are included.
A Village Where Clothes Are Optional: What to Know First
This is the part we want to be clear about, because it decides whether the villa is right for you. The operator describes Charco del Palo as a small, peaceful naturist village on the north-east coast and says it is one of the few places in Europe where nudity is allowed and clothes are optional. Optional is the important word: visitors are not required to do anything, and the villa itself is a walled, gated private property with its own pool garden and roof terrace.

In practice that means you should expect to see people without clothes on the village’s small beaches and rock pools, and you should decide before booking how you and everyone in your group feel about that. Some groups choose the village for exactly this atmosphere; others are simply looking for a quiet coast and are happy with a relaxed, unhurried neighbourhood. If anyone in your party, particularly teenagers or older relatives, would be uncomfortable, one of the Finca de Arrieta homes or a Costa Teguise apartment is the easier choice, and we say so without any judgement in either direction.
The rest of the village description is attractive on its own terms: a volcanic landscape, a rocky coastline, a couple of small beach areas with natural tidal sea pools — the operator says the villa is about 20 metres from them — swimming, snorkelling and hiking, and a restaurant, cafés, bars, galleries and shops, with more choice in nearby Mala and Guatiza.
The Pool Garden and the 250 m² Roof Terrace
The outdoor space is the reason groups book this villa. The solar-heated pool is 8 m × 4 m, set in a tropical garden with a white-sand, beach-like surround, loungers and hammocks. Pool heating matters in winter: the sea around Lanzarote is roughly 18–20 °C from December to March, and solar heating takes the edge off a pool that would otherwise be cold on a cloudy day. As always with solar heating, it works best on sunny days, so treat it as ‘comfortable when the sun is out’ rather than a guaranteed temperature, and ask the operator about the water temperature for your dates.

Above the garden, the roof terrace is about 250 m², with front-line views of the Atlantic, glass balustrades that protect you from the sea breeze, sun loungers and seating areas. The operator suggests it for sunrise watching and for yoga or stretching. For a group that wants to eat outside, the combination of terrace, communal bar and industrial kitchen is the real selling point: one person can cook for ten without anyone being squeezed into a kitchenette.
Remember that the kitchenettes in the bedrooms are for coffee, snacks and small meals; the big cooking happens in the shared kitchen.
Who It Suits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere
- Two to five couples or friends travelling together. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and kitchenette, so nobody queues for a shower, and the shared spaces are large enough for a long dinner.
- Wellness and yoga groups. The wooden-floored studio, the roof terrace and the pool garden are all things the operator specifically recommends for yoga, Pilates and retreats. If you are organising one, you can ask Lanzarote Retreats about its yoga and Pilates extras.
- Family reunions with older children and adults. Up to 10 adults plus children, a walled pool and a quiet coast work well for relatives who want space. Check the child arrangement and the naturist setting first.
- Weddings, celebrations and corporate retreats. The operator itself mentions these uses.
It is the wrong choice if you want a beach you can walk to with a bucket and spade, a play park, or a restaurant row on the doorstep. The Finca de Arrieta homes, with a calm golden beach 300 metres away and children 17 and under staying free, are a much better fit for young children. The operator also notes that a car is recommended: the nearest shop is a seven-minute walk, the coast is one minute away, but Mala, Guatiza and the supermarket-and-restaurant choices are a drive, and Costa Teguise is a 20-minute drive away.

We checked the operator’s booking engine on 23 October 2026 for 7-night stays. Prices depend on dates and guests, are a snapshot and will change, so use these as a guide and check the live calendar on the property page.

| Dates (7 nights) | Guests | Total quoted | Per night |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10–17 Jan 2027 | 2 adults | €3,361 | about €480 |
| 10–17 Jan 2027 | 8 adults | €3,361 | about €480 |
| 24–31 Jan 2027 | 2 adults | €3,565 | about €509 |
| 7–14 Feb 2027 | 2 adults | €4,486 | about €641 |
| 14–21 Feb 2027 | 8 adults | €4,128 | about €590 |
| 7–14 Mar 2027 | 2 adults | €4,044 | about €578 |
Two things stand out. First, the price does not change with the number of adults in our checks — the villa is priced as a whole — so the larger your group, the lower the cost per person: €3,361 for ten adults is roughly €337 each for the week. Second, early-to-mid January was the cheapest window we found, and February was the most expensive, which matches the rest of the Lanzarote Retreats range. If your group can travel in the second week of January, you are also in the January-onwards window for our reader discount, at the cheapest pricing we found.
Boutique Beach Villa vs Casa Pino vs Villa Palacio
If you are comparing the big-group homes, these are the three we would put side by side. All three are in the north-east, all three are on the operator’s private-transfer list, and all three can be booked with our codes.

Our reading: Casa Pino5% off · code inside is the value choice for up to ten adults who want a private pool and do not mind a drive to the beach; the operator notes that its price is based on adults only and extra charges apply for children aged 3–17. Villa Palacio & Yurts5% off · code inside is for reunions that need to sleep more than twenty people. Boutique Beach Villa is the one for a group that values the coast, privacy and a quiet village over price.
Getting There and Practicalities
Charco del Palo is about 20 minutes’ drive from Costa Teguise, and Lanzarote’s airport at Arrecife is on the same side of the island. Lanzarote Retreats can arrange a private return airport transfer for Boutique Beach Villa, with a complimentary 5-seater car for up to seven days included in the package; 7-seaters cost extra, prices depend on group size and dates, and the operator asks for 48 hours’ notice. Drivers must be 25 or over and have held a licence for two years. Child car seats are free on request.
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is at 10:00; early check-in or late check-out costs 50% of a nightly rate, subject to availability. The booking is a 30% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Cancelling forfeits the deposit and cancelling inside 30 days forfeits everything, so we strongly suggest travel insurance. All homes are non-smoking (the operator charges €500 for smoking inside), pets are not allowed, and a card authorisation is taken as a damage deposit.
Remember the climate: the operator’s weather table shows 18 °C in January and February with 16–18 mm of rain, 19 °C in March and 20 °C in December. There is no air conditioning or heating in most Lanzarote Retreats homes, so bring a fleece for the evenings. Is Boutique Beach Villa a naturist property?

According to the operator the 8 m × 4 m pool is solar-heated. Solar heating works best in sunshine, so ask about the temperature for your dates.
How much did a week cost?

Our Honest Final Word
Boutique Beach Villa is a very good answer to a specific question: where can ten adults have their own bathroom, a heated pool, a roof terrace and an Atlantic coast to themselves in winter? It is not the easy choice for families with young children, and the naturist village is a genuine reason to read the operator’s description twice before you pay a deposit. We have not stayed here, but if the setting suits your group, we would look at Boutique Beach Villa5% off · code inside in January and compare it against Casa Pino5% off · code inside and Villa Palacio & Yurts5% off · code inside before deciding.
