We&#8217;ve hosted visiting friends who blew through \u20ac200 a day without trying, and we know solo travellers who did a week in Helsinki on \u20ac35\/day by cooking every meal and couchsurfing. The reality sits somewhere in between.<\/p>\n<p>For 2026, we&#8217;d frame it this way: Finland is expensive for eating out, accommodation and alcohol. It is cheap or free for nature. The national parks, forest trails, beaches and lakes cost nothing to access.
