He&#8217;s been helping international visitors understand Lapland for years, which means he thinks constantly about how people discover, plan, and remember travel experiences.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s also, by his own admission, a person who finds it very hard to stay put. She&#8217;s now studying AI and content creation, which means she brings a completely different lens to travel writing \u2014 one that&#8217;s interested in systems, in how information spreads, in what makes content actually useful rather than just readable.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s also the one who pushes us into experiences we&#8217;d otherwise skip. The smoke sauna we weren&#8217;t sure about. The restaurant that looked too expensive. What actually happened was quieter: we had more travel experience than most of the articles we kept finding online, and that gap frustrated us.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;d been to 25 countries \u2014 Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Singapore, and Ukraine. We&#8217;d done the ring road in Iceland. We&#8217;d driven through Norwegian mountain tunnels in a snowstorm. We&#8217;d spent a week in the Faroes in weather so bad the ferry didn&#8217;t run. The articles we found were beautiful and completely useless. The smoke sauna we weren&#8217;t sure about. The restaurant that looked too expensive.
