White-tailed sea eagles are large, with broad wings and a pale tail, and are often seen circling over water. Cormorants are dark and sit upright on rocks with wings held open to dry. Guillemots are black and white seabirds that nest on cliff ledges.<\/p><p>Note that nesting colonies are a spring and summer sight. In winter, many seabirds are elsewhere or out at sea, so set your expectations by season.
