We look at historical weather patterns and the moon: a bright full moon makes the sky pale, and a new moon gives the darkest sky for faint auroras. We do not choose around a prediction of solar activity, because forecasts are only reliable a few days ahead.<\/p><p>We recommend a flexible approach for a legal ceremony: the paperwork fixes the date for the civil act, but a symbolic ceremony or a vow exchange can be held on the night with the best sky, within a window of a few nights.
